SURGICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (SICU)
The Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), an adult surgical unit adjacent to the Operating Suites and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), provides intensive monitoring and intensive treatment to the critical care patient in a healing and supportive environment.
The SICU rooms are equipped with newly installed Mindray cardiac/invasive monitoring equipment, suction and oxygen delivery systems. All rooms may accommodate isolation.
MEDICAL INTENSIVE CARE UNIT (MICU)
The Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) provides 24-hour intensive monitoring and intensive treatment to patients. The unit is equipped with all necessary equipment, supplies and skilled staff required for the multisystem needs of the Critical Care patient.
The MICU rooms are equipped with newly installed Mindray cardiac/invasive monitoring equipment, suction and oxygen delivery systems. All rooms may accommodate isolation.
IV TEAM
The IV Team provides quality intravenous care to patients from adolescence through geriatric age groups in order to prevent unnecessary trauma while providing maximum benefits and minimizing risks associated with IV therapy. Services include intravenous PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) line and midline insertion, peripheral IV starts and chemotherapy administration.
