Northside Medical Center Therapy’s Speech Therapy Program helps restore speech, language, voice and swallowing skills after a stroke or other neurological event and preserves these functions in patients with Parkinson’s disease, dementia and other neurological diseases. Pediatric services are also available at Austintown Therapy Center.
Speech therapy can use many methods and approaches, including electrical stimulation, oral motor therapy, apraxia therapy and voice therapy.
